The 2023 Series is set up to bookend the triathlon season here in Wisconsin. With a 3-race spring set of races, The Spring Tune-Up. A 2-race fall set of races, The Fall Mini. Both combined create the Full Wisconsin Du Series.
To be full series eligible, you must race a minimum of 3 events, one of which has to be the 1848 Wisconsin Duathlon State Championships.
- We will Score your best 3 finishes; racing all 5 races gives you two replacement scores where we get rid of your worst two finishes.
To be Spring Tune-Up eligible, you must race 2 of the 3 spring races.
- Racing all 3 gives you 1 replacement score where we get rid of your worst finish
To be Fall Mini Eligible, you must race ONLY the two Fall Races.
Overall, Series points will be awarded based on finish position. We will award the top 3 overall in the Male & Female categories.
Age Group Series points will be awarded by gender & obviously age group. We will award only the Age Group Champion.
Relay Teams will compete for their own series overall. Awarded by Chip finish time amongst relay teams. 1st place = 10 points, 2nd = 9 points, 3rd = 8 points. 4th = 7 points, 5th = 6 points. 6th = 5 points. 7th = 4 points. 8th = 3 points. 9th = 2 points. 10th = 1 point. (Still looking at a viable age multiplier)
There will be a Team/Club Champion as well, we are still working on the details of the scoring process.
