Individual Participants
; you MUST wear your "ChampionChip" ankle strap, helmet sticker and your bib number in front of your body.
RELAY participants; you must wear your teams designated "ChampionChip" ankle strap. The chip must be switched between the runner and biker in the transition area. One helmet sticker and bib provided for each relay team.

The Cooney Duathlon an event for everyone.

An early season, Memorial Weekend multisport event to satisfy everyone! The layout of this event is great for first timers and for those wanting to test your limits to get the 'cob webs' out after the long winter months. The 8th annual Cooney Duathlon consists of a 2 mile run, 20 mile bike ride and finishes with another 2 mile run.  

Run + Bike + Run = FINISH

Following the event socialize with a game of washers, listen to music, eat some food and embrace the outdoors. The layout of this event is great for first timers, those wanting to get test their limits with a challenge and those simply wanting to get the 'cob webs' after the winter months.

Cooney Duathlon

** Wisconsin Duathlon Series has a NO REFUND policy. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including race cancellation due to inclement weather. The Race Director holds the right to cancel or alter the event and the courses at any point for participant safety. **

Course's
The Cooney Duathlon consists of a 2 mile run, 20 mile bike and another 2 mile run.
  • Run #1: A pancake flat 2 mile course on pavement. Course map is available (HERE)
  • Bike: A quick 20 mile rolling hill course with country views. This is a well marked course with mechanical support provided by Endurance House. Course map is available (HERE) 
  • Run #2: Another flat 2 mile course that is different from the first run course.

​Transition will be open race morning only from 6:30am-7:45am
Bike racks are labeled (8 bikes per rack/16 per row), please do not take up your neighbor's space on the ground area or bike racks.
